The GLP and AIMES Joint Working Group formerly known as “Large-Scale Behavioural Models of Land Use Change” has streamlined its name and is now called “Behavioural Models of Land Systems”, or BeModeLS for short. Calum Brown has stepped down as Working Group Coordinator, and James Millington (Reader in Landscape Ecology, King’s College London), has taken his place. Brown will remain on the WG’s Steering Committee, which also includes Mark Rounsevell, Maja Schlüter, Tatiana Filatova, Birgit Müller, and Derek Robinson. You can read the WG’s updated description, goals and objectives statement, and more on the group’s homepage. Many thanks to Calum for his thoughtful leadership over many years, and a warm welcome to James! |
